Missing y-DNA connection on Wikitree
+6

My father (Muise-23) has a DNA test and the y-DNA test shows correctly on his ancestors' profiles back to his great-grandfather (Mius-22). The DNA test is missing from any other profiles starting with his great-great-grandfather (Mius-62).
Does Wikitree only allow so many generations credit for a test? This test matches others in a different branch of the family 13 generations removed.
Thanks
Marcel

Hi Marcel, Thank you for joining our worldwide WikiTree!
Yes, the yDNA should show on the earlier paternal line forefathers. I think you need to wait overnight for the database to be indexed. Check a few hours from now and see if the test appears on
http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Mius-62
.

Hi Marcel, I just checked and it seems to be OK now. The yDNA test shows down Larry's paternal ancestry line and the mtDNA test shows down his maternal line correctly. I think we just had to wait for the evening database index to run. Kitty
