Why would I no longer be the manager of my own profile?

Audrey, I fixed this for you. Like Daniel said, it happened when the profile you created for yourself was merged into the profile for you that John Smith had created. We should have a protection against this; I'll need to investigate. Cheers, Chris

Hello Audrey,

Probably something went wrong after the merge of your profile on april 4th. You could contact the current manager of your profile (John Smith; http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Smith-21347) and ask him to reinstate you! The other option is contacting info --at-- wikitree.com.
