I am looking for ancestors of Andreas(Andrew) Viktor Anderson from Sweden or Denmark.

Question

Andrew was born 21 Mar 1864 and came to the U.S in about 1881. He settled in Joliet, IL. Believe he was from Sweden or possibly Denmark.

1920 US Census has Andrew Anderson and wife Johanna in Joliet Twp., Will, IL.Andrew 56y b. Sweden, Johanna 52y b. Prussia Germany, dau. Bessie 17y b. IL, Edward 15y, b. IL, Robert Thurlow 25y b. Canada, Charles Thurlow 23y, b. Canada.

1930 US Census, Joliet, Will, IL.  Andrew V. Anderson is 66, Johanna is 62, Robert J. Thurlow (stepson) is 36 years old.

Yep, that's my family. Guess I should have been more specific in my question. I lose the trail prior to 1910. The 1900 census records are not the ones I'm looking for and the 1890 census is non-existant. Thanks, Frank.

The name and year of birth but not the month is correct.  Maybe you will recognize the names of his siblings/cousins - to rule in or rule out?
