I have uploaded my Family tree and now i have my soon to be wifes ged file, how can i merge correctly without messing up everything, not sure how to do this. or do i upload the other ged file and everything just ties in by names?

Thank you very much for the help

Also when i was trying to add my siblings i think i messed up and merged my sister and her kids and husbands i removed husbands and now i cant remove her children i thought the merging was adding her as a sister , very new to this very confused, would love someone to help fix what i did wrong or have the chance to start over.
I am sure I can help you sort it out :)! I will send you a private message so that you can temporarily add me on the trust list of the profile's which need work.

If you import the other gedcom file you only need to merge the duplicate profiles to combine the tree's. If you know the profile ID's you can use the Matching and Merging Profiles page, if not you can use the Find Ancestor Matches page to find them.
