I am living in William Crocker' house supposedly built in 1670, how do we confirm this date?

You didn't supply a location - country, city, town etc.  It may be as you are living there, the town may have records on William Crocker, you might want to check with the local historical society where you live.  And also, depending on the location, you may be able to find census records through one of the town resources, indicating his residence.

Properties usually have titles going back to the original owner.  Check with the recorder's office or a title office.
