Same info for two different names

Question

I find I have two different names wirh the same exact information including the same wife.  Information was from worldconnect.rootsweb and trees.ancestry submitted by a Mark Edwards.  Birthdates were 1645/46 for Johann Heinrich and Bartholomaus Wolf.

How can I solve this dilemma without going to Germany?

If there are no records with sources on familysearch one would need to know where they were from to devise a search strategy.

You can try searching on Google using birth death info and possibly spouse name. I have found hints that lead in the right direction doing that.
