G2G: I entered the wrong name on my tree how do I delete it?

I put Charity Haworth as wife of David Hockett and I need to delete her and put her in the right place. Thank you

Linda, you don't need to delete Charity. Click on the edit tab. When you get to the edit page, look to the far right side of the page. You'll see (among other options):

[add/remove a spouse]

Click on that link. You'll be taken to another edit page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll see a button that says:

Remove as spouse of...

There may be a circle you need to check, then select the button. Now Charity will no longer be shown as the wife of David Hockett.

edit, edit edit.. you will learn that delete is not an option.  ive edited myself into many corners but you can always correct it.
