I believe the poem with the refrain "Abort, Retry, Ignore?" is "Poe Puree" by Cleveland poet Marcus Bales. It has been adapted numerous times, attributed to Anonymous and to Lucy Blades, but is claimed by Mr. Bales.

This Lucy died in 1979, which seems too early for the subject matter of the poem.

Here's a page with two versions of the poem, which is quite good:

Wow - Karen, you are amazing!!!

and I loved the poem, too (all the versions, in fact) - THANX!!!
If the Lucy Blades (d. 1979) is Lucy Ellen Blades, she was my grandmother and to my knowledge, did not write any poetry.
Thanks, Anthony! I think the original poster Mr. Barde noticed the poem attributed to a Lucy Blades (which isn't correct, as Marcus Bales wrote it), and then noticed that your ancestor had the same name.

I love the photo of her with the feathered hat!
How time and distance change things! When we moved to Canada, she took to wearing a racoon fur coat!
