Does anyone have marriage info on David Davidson and Harriet Hughes?

Question

David Davidson was enlisted ib British army in the 1820s, serving on the Mediterranean until being shipped to Canada. I have no marriage records, but a family bible refers to a daughter, Eliza, born in Nova Scotia at the time of his unit's short stay there before moving on to Quebec. I assume that Harriet was the daughter of a soldier and that she and david married at Corfu or en route to Nova Scotia (Harriet must have been pregnant already on the sea voyage).
