What have you got on Newby Family in South Africa from about 1880

Have you looked over Newby profiles? ( http://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/newby ) I took a quick look at the first 100 and didn't see any with a South Africa location, but you might see dates or names that might give you a lead (and one of the other 400 or so profiles might even have a South Africa location).

You could also post a question on the Newby page.

The only NEWBY mentioned in the "Stamregister van die Suid-Afrikaanse Volk" is

NEWBY, Tom, v. Altofts, Yorkshire, E., ar. 1912, tr. 1913 Laura d/v Charles BURLEY v. Normanton, HYorkshire: 3 sons
