Jean-Baptiste's father's first name was Geoffroy. Jean-Baptiste's mother's last name was Mile or Mansion.

The original mentioned profile, Lefebvre_dit_Jean-Jean-1,  didn't link properly (G2G bug perhaps?), so I changed it to a matching profile, Lefebvre-226. I also requested a merge of both those profiles.

Go ahead and edit eithor of those profiles with any new information you may find.

The Lefebvre information is a composite of family tree submissions to familysearch.org since 1978. It has not been checked for verification.

It and two other similar Ancestral File submissions were all that was available that pertained to the question. I would rather let someone else edit the profile if they feel so inclined.

I might have been a bit overzealous when I proposed the merges of profiles that seem to match. The wives attached seemed to be the same, so I proposed that merge instead.

The original problem I had tried to fix was the link to the profile not working properly. This time I fixed it by going to the root of the problem which was having the "dit" part included in the last name at birth, which goes against the wikitree style guide. I've changed the last name at birth to conform to the standards, restored the original profile as the one linked to the question (the link now works!), and moved the original merge request to an unmerged match.

Jean-Baptiste Lefebvre was born 1651 St. Germain, Amiens, Picardie, France and he died 27 April 1715 at Notre Dame, Montreal, Ile De Montreal, Quebec.

He married Cunegonde Gervaise or Gervoise 14 Jan 1676

His father was Geoggroy Lefevre born about 1630 in France and his mother was Jeanne Mile Mansion born about 1630 at St. Germain, Amiens, Picardie, France. She died in France.

The couple had 16 children.
