Walter Bell was born in Monaghan County, Ireland in 1775. He marreid Sara Knox who was born in PA between 1779 and 1783. She died in Nov 1817 probably in PA. He died in 1849 in Cambridge, Guernsey County, OH.

I am interested in finding the names of Sarah Knox's parents if possible. Children of Walter and Sara (Knox) Bell are John born 1803, Jeannette born 1804, Anne born 1806 Sarah born 1808, James Knox born 1809, William Clay (my ancestor) born Jan 22, 1812, Eliza born 1814, and Walter Bell born 1816.

Thank you.

I'm going to guess that James Knox, Jr. was born in Glasgow, PA, which is about one hour away from Cecil Twp.

Glasgow, PA is in Beaver County, and Cecil Twp., is in Washington County, PA

I have added the names that you provided in your answer. Thanks again.

Thank you for finding them. James Knox, Jr. and wife, Jennet, would be my 4th great grandparents. Would you have the reference source for this information?

Hello,  In order for me to provide any assistance, I'd  need to know a village or town land where your Bells lived in N. Ireland.  My only clue is something that sounds like BraKa  Brecagh, Bracaghreilly, Knockbreckan are some I've found BUT no verification for Isabelle Cairns her husband James Bell nor heir brother John Cairns Carnes and his wife Ann - maybe Hannah  Bell

OR if you have any of these names in your lineage.  Thanks Charlene Bell Cairns

Walter Bell II or Jr. was born in Emyvale, Monaghan, Ireland in 1722. He married Janet (Mrs. Beattie) Abt 1745. She was born in Emyvale or possibly Dublin. They relocated to North Carolina.

My line descends from their son, William Bell, who was born 1747 and he and his wife, Ann Williams,  and their children moved to Mercer County, PA after 1775.

Many Bells and Williams were born in Emyvale or Lower Groves in Monaghan County and attended Tyholland Parish, the smallest church in the county.
