I need research help for Stratford Upon Avon.

I am researching the family of Christopher Smith and Alis Gibes (married 1 May 1616 in Holy Trinity Church, Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick, Eng.)  I have tons of information about their children and descendants.  I need help finding information/records about Christopher and Alis/Alice.  Their children were baptized in Holy Trinity Church until 1633 (Edward).  I would like to know where they lived from 1616 to 1633, what did they do, and who were their parents and siblings.  I will be in Stratford Upon Avon in early September and would like to see if their home still stands or the area where they lived.

Can anyone help me or tell me where to look to find records from the early 1600s for Stratford on Avon, Warwickshire, England?

I don't know if you've ever been in that part of England but it is very beautiful.  I hope you have access to an auto and can drive the short distance to Blenheim (better than Windsor or Buckingham Palace by far) where Churchill was born and see the lovely occasional inns and little villages like Woodstock and the quaint little towns in that part of the country.
That would be lovely, Vincent, but unfortunately, I will only have a very few hours in Stratford Upon Avon as I am taking a bus from London for the day.  At least I will be able to watch the scenery go by on the bus ride.

Warwickshire County Records Office & The Shakespeare Birthplace Tust Record Office may be worthwhile places to consider.
