Might there be something more in Fold3? Would someone with a subs be willing to do a look-up? Am seeking info to explain when or how Benjamin BARTLETT / BARTLET  /BARTLIT (1753 CT - probably after 1820 or even 1830 VT) acquired the title "Captain"...that's what he was called in the History of Jericho book. In the Revolutionary War, he was an Ensign in Capt. Elijah Galusha's Company of Militia, out of Arlington, Bennington County, Vermont, in Ira Allen's Regiment (service dates outlined in his profile), usually appearing as Benj BARTLET, or Benj BARTLIT

Also, might FOLD3 have death info? He was in censuses in Jericho, Chittenden County, Vermont, thru 1820, and possibly in 1830 also (as detailed on his profile).

Any additional info would be appreciated. Many thanks!
