Removing a member

I have unfortunately added a member to a wrong tree. How can I remove the member

You cannot remove a member from wikitree, but you are able to detach a member from his immediate family by clicking "edit" in the person's toolbar, then down the right hand side of the edited page, you have the facility to edit/remove the father & mother. Remove each parent seperately, and/or spouse, saving each action carried out.

When complted, the person should now be a "stand alone" profile. Find the correct tree and then add the "Stand alone", as a child to parents, siblings or spouse by using the members ID.

Adriaan, If you go to the profile that is incorrectly linked, then click on the edit button at the bottom of the Biography and Source section, you will then have the option of editing any links with parent, spouse, child, etc. Now look down the right-hand panel for the name that could be the incorrect link. Beneath the name there are options to edit or remove the link. This will take you to another screen where you have various options. Follow these through, and when you have finished, save the changes.
