General George Pickett was born in Richmond, VA in 1825. His father Robert was in Virginia and came from a prominant old Virginia family that traced back to England.
From your site, Clem was born in FL 1892, her father George A. born GA in 1854, grandfather William born 1824, one year before General Pickett, but in NC, and going back one more generation, John born in 1775 in NC.
It's possible that there is a connection but more research would have to be done.
