Is there a local historical society or perhaps a library that would have some information for you?

Hi John

I would recommend a visit to www.onfife.com or telephone 01592 583204 to talk to someone in the library service in Kirkcaldy. Certainly in my old area the local history curator had a good number  of records that traced the naming of streets.
