Hi all, I live just outside of Canton, Tx and can do look ups at the county court house and the Van Zandt Historical Society library.

I also travel to Austin a couple of times a year so if anybody would like any pictures from the Texas State Cemetery let me know.

One of my Ancestors is Causey-313   (J.D. Causey, John David, possibly James David). See the profile for my source links.  My records indicate that he was born in Van Zandt County, Texas.

On his death certificate his father is listed as John Causey - (Causey-371) but I have no other information on him. I'm stuck at this point

My grandmother is Mary Lou Causey Maxey (Causey-312) - her father was Alvin J. Causey (Causey-311) and her grandfather is J.D. Causey-313)... I can't get much farther.  Just curious if you can track down any info on any John or J.D Causey's in Van Zandt County.

Thank you!

Kevin
