Hi. I have a a few Walker's, a bunch of Lynch's and Simmons, but no Vernon's (maybe I just haven't discovered them yet). Walker, Lynch and Simmons are all in my direct ancestry. My paternal grandmother's maiden name was Simmons (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Simmons-3626). Then my paternal grandfather's great-grandmother was a Lynch (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Lynch-2071) and his 7th great-grandmother was a Walker (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Walker-5025).

You did the right thing by coming to G2G to say hello and by listing all the surnames you are interested in.  Thank you!

As you start adding to your tree I think you will find cousins who are adding to their tree and soon branches that link up to yours.

Hi Rob , My aunt married a Lynch. He was a descendant of the sister of Thomas Lynch who signed the Declaration of Independence. Thomas Lynch had no children. His inheritance was left to his sister if she would name her descendants and their descendants after him , I believe. Wikitree has profiles on many Thomas Lynchs. The last Thomas Lynch in this line is still alive. But Thomas Lynch of Clemson , South Carolina died a few years back he owned a drug store there. Easy to find info. The woman he was married to is also alive. Like I said very public info. I you are looking for a Lynch tie I hope this helps. There maybe a Calhoun and a Pinckney tie also. And there are Walkers in there also.   The wife Thomas Lynch from Clemson is a Roach and Hunnicutt s too.  Welcome Rob.

Auburn Lee Simmons b. 1860 d. 1931 in Lyme, New Hampshire, is in my family; however, other surnames do not include Lynch or Walker.

The Simmons are my maternal grandmothers line. I did not know my grandparents. Agnes Simmons was from Liverpool, England in the 1900's. So, at this stage, I've yet to make any family connection with the USA.

I've a long way to go with my family research.

Hi Rob,

I have a lot of information about Vernons and am in contact with some cousins who have done a lot of research on the family.  I'm descended from Quaker Vernon brothers who came to PA in 1682.  My branch of the family went to Ohio in the 1830s.  Be happy to see what I can do to help you with your research.
