Five hundred years ago, Monsieur LaRose set out from France on a journey to the New World for riches and adventures in the fur industry.  This is a historical fiction novel based on family lore passed on by my mother, Theresa (LaRose) Fronczek and other family members.

A story of my ancestors who took part in the birth of French America, the exploration of the Mississippi River, the questionable priest who settled in Quincy, Canada, the LaRose’s force into exile into America, the textile workers, the California Gold Rush, the whiskey runners during probation and into the twentieth Century.

I'm at a standstill of research of the LaRose linkage to the LaRose who landed in Canada 1606aba as a fur trader. I contacted MesAieux.com/YourFolks.com(commandes/orders) and paid them for a research. Have heard nothing from them except talking my $$ and ran with it.
