How to do Biography tables?

Lots of times you'll find a list of things in a person's biography ... like a bill of charges from a township.  So, a column of identifiers and then a column of monetary charges.  In MSWord this would be done with a table ... is there a way to do something similar in the Wiki Mark Up Language?
