information on Lewis P. Barnett b. Oklahoma d. Los Angeles, CA

Question

I know Lewis P. Barnett was born on Mach 4,1902 in,what at the time, was Greer County, Texas.  His parents, Sol D. and Mary P. (Adams) Barnett were in Duke, Greer, Texas in the 1900 census, it's now Jackson county, Oklahoma.  He married Vivian S.  In the 1940 Hollis, Harmon, Oklahoma census his occupation is listed a town treasurer.  He died in Los Angeles, California on January 4, 1973.  Does anyone know Vivian's last name and when did they move to California.

Hudson.This is a well documented tree.I have not found there marriage

record.But there first child born in 1926.So they would have married 1924-

1926.

by my calculation in 1940 he was 38,if he retired at age 65,he could have

moved to California about 1965.

Could be they never married,i had a couple in Louisiana,they married after

4 of there children were born.Vivian lived to age 88.

76 year old Mary at end of list is enumerated as "mother" b virginia, but is probably more accurately mother in law. She has same birthplace (virginia) as her son per previous census year.

By 1930, Vivian and Lewis/Louis are married with children, still in Hollis. Vivian's mother is still widowed and now living with her  widowed sister and child in Hollis.  I say 

Sister because the California death index indicated Vivian's mother's maiden name 

was McKnight not Priddy

Hello I am a grand daughter of Lewis and Vivian Barnet. My mother was one of 4 of their children, Wilma Jean Barnet. As I remember being told Vivian's Mothers maiden name was McKnight.  Thank you for furthering my information and search.
