Alexander McGill (b. abt 1797) married Jane/Jean Livingston (b.abt 1797)

Question

Does anyone have information about these two people?  They were living at Greenholm, Scotland when their twins were born:  22 March, 1815, named Elizabeth and William.

You are the first person I've come across who has publically indicated the twins are in the family tree!  I'm not having any success proving the parentage of their mother, Jean Livingston.  Do you have any info you can share?  Carole

Alexander Mcgill and Jean Livingston had a daughter who was born 27 Nov 1809 at Loudoun, Ayr, Scotland whose name was Grizzel Mcgill. Jean Mcgill was born 4 Apr 1813 at Loudoun, Ayr, Scotland. William and Elizabeth were both born on 22 Mar 1815, also at Loudoun, Ayr, Scotland. 

There was a William Mcgill born in Scotland in 1815 who married Jane E. who was b. in England. In the 1880 US Census, they lived in Vallejo, Solano, California. In 1850 US Census, William Mcgill and Jane E. were at West Farms, Westchester, NY.

Just a qick correction regarding birth date of Jean McGill:  Born 16 Mar 1813, christened 4 Apr 1813.
