Proposed merges for De Clares?

+2 votes

Earl Gilbert FitzRichard De Clare of Hertford and Pembroke isn't in my ancestry, nor are any of his family. He was born before the Magna Carta was signed, and none of my lines go back that far. Is it possible for the Euro-Aristo group to handle the De Clare family and their ancestors and descendents?  I have no information on that era of England besides what Shakespear wrote. And yet, they keep appearing on my Merges page.... Please help me, I'm drowning in the 11th century.

Easiest way to do this is to de-list yourself from the Trusted List/profile manager of as many of them as pop up.

To simplify this, you may be able to do a search of the surname(s) in your watchlist, then filter them by century of birth and print such list.  Then you can possibly do a bulk removal of your name from as many as you need to, again, starting at your Watchlist.

I hope this helps.

Thanks, Keith, I will certainly do this.
