I am working on cleaning up some profiles in the Harris lines. I have documented Rebecca Foote married to William Harris on both census and a marriage record for Indiana. What I am missing is her birth record...I have seen her alternatively born in Indiana or Kentucky about 1820 and her death record. Some folks are attaching a grave in Illinois or Indiana but I believe based upon census reports that she died in Iowa. Death would have been after the 1850 census (she was living in Perry, Iowa at that time) and before the 1860 census where her husband was remarried and living in Prairie Township, Iowa. I've seen her death location listed as Iowa City and I have a land grant for that area for her husband so it is a possibility but I've been unable to locate anything. Anyone up for the challenge?
