The only information I have is that he was born in Kentucky, was a plumber or pipefitter by trade. In 1958 he got a marriage license in Michigan and was 22 or 23 at that time. The license was to marry Janet Ruth Murphy.

Hello Mary:

I find this very interesting that James R. Elliott's mother's maiden name was Cash. My maternal grandfather was Nixon Cash Elliott. I've been trying to find out where the Cash name comes from and am not sure if there is a connection here some where in the Elliott lineage. My grandfather was born in Wichita, Kansas and his father was born in Gadsden County, Quincy FL. I'd be really curious to find out if there is any kind of connection and would share what information I have on the Elliott's that I have. Thank you.
