Thank you very much for your assistance with my questions.  I think I'm chasing my tail a little.  In some instances "Mary" is Henry's mother, in other instances "Lucy" is noted as Henry's mother.  Another person responding to my query notes that in a census when Henry was 11 years old, the wife of his father Thomas was noted as "Louisa" (which perhaps could be a misspelling of Lucy?).  If I'm following the correct Henry and Thomas combination, I'm assuming either Lucy/Louisa was perhaps his mother, and Mary his stepmother - or vice versa.  Any further ideas?  Apologies in advance if I'm asking too many questions/seeking inappropriate theories.  Kind regards and many thanks for your help.
If Mary was there for the chistening, some weight might be given to her being the biological mother. Mary could have had a middle name like Louise or Louisa or Lucille.

Lucile Ball was the female lead in the TV comedy "I Love Lucy."
