For the profile of Johannes Plat, I found an extract of his death recorded in German. Can you decipher the date?

"Netherlands, Zuid-Holland Province, Civil Registration, 1679-1942," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1-17698-138641-92?cc=1576401&wc=9PLS-C68:108150401,116759901 : accessed 25 August 2015), Gouda > Huwelijksbijlagen 1825-1826 > image 418 of 1330; Nationaal Archief, Den Haag (National Archives, The Hague).

Hi B,

I'm not 100% sure, but best guess , elften Marz,1822 ( March 11,1822) alter sieben und vierzig jahre  ( fourty-seven years of age ) , this seems to match his date of birth as well ;) And there's a German Roots project as well, tag german_roots, maybe they can give it a try as well ?

Bremen started civil registration in 1811, therefore, an 1822 death should be there. Familysearch claims those records are accessible through Family History Centers, didn't find if they are on-line. The Staatsarchiv Bremen (E-Mail: information@staatsarchiv.bremen.de ) would be the repository for these records, records are on microfilm, they do research but for a fee.

We added some German sources here a while ago: Kitty's Library , also ''die Maus'' a genealogical website with lots of links and info from Bremen , so maybe you can find something there ?

Thank you both for your reply. The extract in the dutch archives is all I have, but your directions are great for future use.
Heb van het Amsterdam archief de geboorteinfo al toegevoegd aan de Bio van het profiel :) Geboortenaam idd Jan, tenminste als dit zijn echte ouders zijn ..
