G2G: My GGGG Aunt is mentioned as Niece to POTUS William Harrison. I can't find the connection.

Question

I was researching my Rambo Lineage trying to find some connections, and found the Obit of my GGGG Aunt's husband. In the Obit it discusses how he was able to marry the Belle of Tennessee (my aunt Damaris M. Rambo) who was also the niece of President Harrison.

Quote:

"The father of Mr. Trook won Miss Damarius Rambo, the belle of old Nashville. Tenn. in 1828, a time when there was no other city of Prominence on the Mississippi between St. Louis and New Orleans, and carried off the the niece of Gen. Harrison, later president of the United States, to his home in Virginia and later to Washington."

I thought finding this, I could easily confirm who the real mother of Damaris was...  But... nope. I can't seem to find the connection at all.  The complete Obituary is on her profile:

She is supposed to be the niece of President Harrison

Is there any one who has any idea what this Obit is talking about?  What the connection is? Does anyone know of ANY Connection (besides this one) of a Rambo to a Harrison?  Maybe this is Damaris mother, as I do not see a Male Rambo listed as a son of Harrison.

The obituary for her son says his daughter married David Loring MacKaye, a "relative of President Taft". They are 5th cousins once removed.

The only information that I found was the Connection Finder for her. Merida Druke is 13 degrees from William Harrison, however it appears that they are not related.

It's through her mother, Rheuhemiah Sulser and William Harrison's father, Benjamin.

Not sure if this helps.

Benjamin is William Harrison's father, that's what I was referring to. There is always help at hand on WT.

I have looked and looked through the ancestors and descendants of Harrison and cannot find any surnames that match.   I am intrigued and will continue the search.

Is it possible that Miss Rambo was a niece of President Harrison's wife, thus making her his niece by marriage rather than blood?
