The new toolbar still needs a little tweaking, so let me know if you have specific suggestions.
One thing on the near horizon: Signing of the Honor Code. Currently new members are expected to agree to it, and all members are expected to abide by it, but there's no real tracking of this.
Soon you'll be able to click to "sign" the Honor Code. Members who don't sign it will end up having their powers limited. It will be a bifurcation into two member classes: Wiki Genealogists, who sign the code and lead the site, and Family Members, who don't have to sign the code but can' t do as much. We already make that distinction conceptually but this will formalize it.
We'll be creating a badge that says you signed the Honor Code. This will go on your profile. It will be part of a broader badge system. We'll make the monthly Club 100 and Club 1,000 part of this, and over time add other badges. I think some will be ones that members can award each other.

There will be some significant behind the scenes changes in Find Matches. We're improving the search engine there. It will change the interface a bit, but not too much.
The bigger thing you'll notice, but this is much further down the road, is an expansion of Find Matches. We'll start doing automatic suggested matches. Every night it will do a batch of names. When the search engine finds a high-probability match it will send a merge proposal to the profile managers.
