Need more info for Aruthr G. Smith. [closed]

Question

I have found that my great grandmother Dorothy June (Smith) racette's father is Arthur G. Smith. He was born in 1887 in Illinois. Died in 1966 in Minnesota. His mother's maiden name is York.

I will like to any assistance in discovering more about him.

I found a 1920 Census of George A Smith Illinois age 34. Ester A Smith -age 63 mother;  Gertrude E. Smith age 22;  Fayette M Smith age 5; Norma G Smith -age 3;  Donald R. Smith - age 0

I also found   Arthur George Smith - 56 white Birth - 21 May 1886 Pullman, Ill 1942 - U.S. World War 2 Draft Registration.

This is what I got plus him in a 1940 Census living with my great grandmother in Heneepin County, Minnesota.

As i done my search it seems he just appears in 1940. So i believe that I am over looking something.

I found Arthur G. Smith in two 1940 US Census. One is 52y and the other is 22y old. The older one is divorced and in Ward 7, Minneapolis City, Hennepin Minnesota. He was born in IL, and  father-in-law to the Recitte's. Horton Recitte, head is 27, wife Dorothy is 23, dau. Beverly is 6, son James is 3 and daughter Janette Recitte is 1.

The other 1940 US Census (maybe the older Arthur G. Smith's son) was born in MN and is 22 years old, living with his wife Laura also 22. Two children, Laurel is 1 and Paul is 0, so he must be a new born baby.  

1930 US Census has Arthur G. Smith 41y, b. IL, wife Nellie 31y, b. Holland. Head of household Challen M. Jones 28 b. MN, his wife, Elinore M. 24y b. IL and roomer Swanberg 18y b. MN.
