Who are the parents of Joseph Carrigan?

Question

We can not find the parents of Joseph Carrigan born abt 1770.  He married Mary Moore on March 3, 1790 in Madison County, KY.  We think he may have been born in NC.  He is mentioned in Arthur Moore's will as a son-in-law.  He and Mary  had a son Shadrack, born in 1803 Cumberland County KY.  Shadrack married Nancy Duff Williams and they lived in Burkesville KY.
