I am looking for an exact birth date for Robert Lee Gibson born in Kentucky July, 1877? or there about.

Question

He was married to Mary Martha (Mattie) Wolfe in 1895 and they lived for in Michigan.  I am also needing to know when he died - we think it is 1955-1956 in Fla.  Mattie had died and he remarried but I have nothing on his new wife.  Son - Edgar H. Gibson, Sr.  Thanks

Jeff, thank you very much.  I am a granddaughter of Robert Lee's son Edgar (my Father was Edgar, Jr/"Bud"). I didn't have years of birth/death for the other 3 children so I really thank you for that.  Two of Edgar, Sr.'s children are still alive.  I heard from them today and they are certain "Daddy Lee" died in Fla.  His first wife Mattie died somewhere around 1947-1950.  He moved from Michigan to Fla   And remarried. These two grandchildren remembered their Dad receiving a postcard like telling their Dad of the marriage.  And when "Daddy Lee" died there was a severe winter storm and their Dad, even trying to go to New Orleans and then to Fla., could not find any possible way to his Dad's funeral. I don't have a very big tree actually, about 1400 persons and i have only been researching my tree since about 2011. The thing i get a kick out of is the detective work. Some people really enjoy expanding the family, others finding a particular relative, collecting photos, finding cousins, etc, but i enjoy connecting the dots with the research. There are plenty out there who are way better than i am.
