Where do I put a small tree, unrelated to me, so that it is not lost.

Charles Lindberg's mother replied to a request in 1927 for information on her Irish heritage to a Mr John Murphy, President of the American Irish Historical Society. The information was to be preserved indefinitely. I would like to record this information even though there is no direct link to me.

Be sure to add Categories so that the small tree members will show up when someone is searching that location. It will help you find them again too!

You are at the spot! Many people here at WikiTree are working on profiles of people they are not related to, some people are trying to connect notable people to the tree, others work on One-Place-Studies that deal with one particular locality without respect to whether the inhabitants are related or not, others again work on specific names (hoping perhaps that they can connect different families with the same name eventually). You will find Charles already here (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Lindbergh-1) and can add your information to the tree.

Just start adding the information.  With WikiTree it is all the same tree and you never know, some of the people may already be on here and connected.  There is no place to put it on here that would be isolated so it won't get "lost" it would show up on your watchlist until you remove them from your list and then others could adopt them and keep watch over them.

The most important thing is the primary source - the text of what she wrote.

Digest it into a tree, certainly, but the tree doesn't replace the source.
