I am not sure who it is you are looking for because you did not say here are some Douglas in Australia. You might want to put a name in and approx birth.

Which one of your Douglas ancestors are you talking about? I had a look at the members of your family and can't tell. Do you have any more information that would help?

You can try searching the various shipping lists into Australia in that time frame. Trove has ship movements and usually says where they left from.
