Will not let me add Reese child born Feb 1900 died after Jun 1900 in Arkansas

Question

Little Nancy Rees born Feb 1900 died after Jun 1900 as she was on the 1900 Census but not on the next and i can't find a birth or death certificate for her and it will not allow me to add her as a child.  it keeps changing the death date from June 1900 and after this date checked to 1900 Jun 00 and then tell me it isn't a proper date

Have you tried to add Nancy without a death date?  Or try putting in just the year 1900 and checking the box "after this date".

It appears, from your question, that your issue is just with the formatting of the date.  So maybe just getting rid of the date will help.  You can add the actual death date when you find it.

Come back and ask again if that does not work.

It should accept what you say you're entering.

The setting of the before/after flags makes no difference and it doesn't do any sanity checks - the only issue is the exact format of what you type in the box.
