Who were the ancestors of John Middleton who married Margaret Ainsworth in Philadelphia Pa in the 1700s?

I am directly descended from John Middleton who married Margaret Ainsworth in 1725 in Philladelphia, Pennsylvania. His children, John, Elizabeth, Andrew and Ainsworth came down to Charlotte co Va, after leaving Lancaster co, PA. I have word John was born in 1713 in Ireland, but no proof this is the same John. Any help would be appreciated researching the Middleton crossings on BOTH sides of the Atlantic.
