Hello. I am busy with a family tree based in Burnley,Lancashire. The names I am looking for are Slack,Rawson, Smith,also can someone explain the name of Anna,Hail of Aughton? She was B.circa 1690 and married a Cuthbertus Sephton, who was B.1688.

The Lancashire Online Parish Clerk project is a wonderful free resource that might help in your research.  I know from personal experience that the records on this site are transcribed by volunteers using the microfilm of the original parish registers.  The transcriptions are then checked twice before being accepted and uploaded.
