Are there Molloys in Armagh?

+8 votes
My DNA is Clan Colla and I've heard there are Molloys in Armagh which is an area were this DNA would be common. I am trying to find my family origin. I always thought we would trace back to Offaly but maybe not.

My grandmother was Molloy (Anna Mary) from Darkley, Co Armagh Her father was Joseph Molloy and his father also Joseph, who I believe originated in Offaly. I believe Joe senior moved from Offally to the United States and came back after a few years. His wife died young, leaving him with three Children, Mary, Joseph and Bridgette.
contact me if you believe this may help you as we are keen to research this also. Thank you.

My answer might sound funny at first, but it works. If you are asking if there are Molloy's "currently" in Armagh, you can look that up on the UK, County Armagh white pages. ;)
