I am looking for information on the OLIVEIRA surname. It is of Portuguese decent. Also SILVA/SYLVIA Portuguese decent.

Did not find anything at surname database for Silva or Sylvia. There are several of my ancestors whose first name is Silvia or Sylvia and one or two named Silvanus or Sylvanus.  

According to Ancestry.com there is a high density of people with the Sylvia surname in Massachusetts. Familysearch.org shows the Sylvia surname in Norway, England, Portugal, Spain, and elsewhere.
