My Menu losing links

Question

After putting several links into "My Menu", after closing out of WikiTree they are gone when I come back.  What I'm I missing?

The problem is I don’t clear my browser data. I added links and was able to see them. I then closed out of WikiTree and immediately came back and they where gone.

Perhaps it's time to try the backup method Paul recommended, at least as an experiment.

In trying to do Paul's recommendation, I'm now not able to add any links.  I get an error message that says " Check your link".  It looks like I'm having more problems with the features on WikiTree in the last couple of weeks then ever before.

Thanks for the link Jenn, but that thread is not conclusive, because it eventually diverted to Discord. I'm afraid this shows the value of using G2G as a universally accessible web-based medium of historical record for WikiTree help discussions, rather than Discord which not everyone can or wants to use.

Jim, that mention of Discord was only as a simple way to share an image, not actually part of the problem.

Rolf, are you sure you don't have your browser data cleared every time you shut down your browser tab?  It is a setting in your browser and was pointed out in the first link: "either manually or via a setting that does it automatically for you"

Rick, my point is that that discussion never returned to G2G from Discord, so if a solution was ever found there, we can't see here what it was.
