Hattie Salisbury Wright was my grandmother and her daughter was never anyone but my mother (deceased) Marion Eloise Downes. She married a Wentz (deceased) from Hanover, PA and then divorced, married a Brandy(deceased) from Connecticutt. Hattie died of stomach cancer when my mother, Eloise, was only 14 years old, which resulted in Mother going to live with her aunt and aunt's friend in Rehobeth Beach, Delaware. There was only one brother and his name was James Ernest Downes(deceased),, son of Hattie S. Wright of Maryland. James married twice and his first children were named Kathy and Patrice ("Patty") Downes of Severna Park, MD. Their grandmother was Hattie S. Wright. My two brothers and I never met Hattie Wright as she had died before we were born.
