Link to site on searching for birth fathers through DNA research

Hallo! I once saw here at G2G a link to a site offering guidelines for searching for birth fathers (at least the familes that they came from) through family tree and DNA research. I have lost this link. Of us seven half-brothers, only two of us know who our father was. I'd like to help my brothers with their research, if i can. We have all tested at FTDNA, except for one, who is deceased. Thank you.

I have frequently come across guests and WikiTree volunteers with questions about their birth family so put together a small free-space page on adoption and DNA. You might find something of interest on the page.

I hope your search will be successful.

I am adoptee who has found biological parents ... I met my bio mother a couple years before she died in 1987. My father passed in 1969 and I never had an opportunity to meet him or learn much about his contemporary family. I've been able to search his ancestry with fairly good success, but I've still not found anyone who is familiar with him or his wife or daughter (my step-sister).  It's been a frustrating quest that began 40+ years ago although I'm fortunate in that I have some answers -- many more than so many adoptees are able to find.

Thank you for providing these links.  Understanding the heart of the adoptee (or adoptive parent), the use of DNA to find biological family information is a great advantage that I recommend using if for no other reason than to begin to learn what makes you you!  The information I've found because of DNA has been awesomely fascinating and at 64 years of age it's given me a sense of who I am beyond anything I could have imagined. My only wish is that this would have been available 40+ years ago when my search began!
