Carmichaels of the world, unite!

I found a site which looks like it's trying to list everybody in history who has ever had the surname Carmichael (and a bunch of variant spellings):

Carmichael Worldwide Database

My family (at least what I know of it) doesn't appear there, but others of you who have Carmichaels up your tree might have better luck.

I found another secondary source for Carmichaels (at least, those related to the Earl of Hyndford): the Internet Archive has a copy of Volume IV (and probably other volumes, too, for all I know) or Sir James Balfour Paul's The Scots Peerage, and the last chapter in that volume covers "Hyndford, Carmichael, Earl of".
