August Lichter - 1856-1935 - Germany

Question

Any information about August Lichter would be greatly appreciated - that's where my lineage "brickwalls."

Here's a link to FamilySearch showing his residence in 1920 and hos spouse.  By  varying the questions on the left column one can get other information.

 

Notice I bracketed the birth year, sometimes one year isn't enough, as in this case.

Also, German in 1855 was not one nation but many priciipalities, sometimes, they are needed, too.
