Rev. George Burroughs or Burrough?

Reverend George Burroughs, of Salem Witch Trials fame, is currently shown with a LNAB of Burrough.  This appears to be because a merge earlier this year was done in the wrong direction.

The preponderance of information in his bio, and that I have seen show his last name should be Burroughs.

Is there support for changing his LNAB back to Burroughs?

I found the answer to this question.  Apparently George Burrough was the name he referred to himself by up through his graduation from Harvard. He also went by the name Burrows in the Roxbury church records. Later, he used the name Burroughs. (NEHGR 45:233).

Additionally, The Magna Carta Ancestry, 2nd edition, refers to both George and his father, Nathaniel, as Burrough.

So, the LNAB of Burrough will be retained, and both Burroughs and Burrows will be listed in the Other Last Names field
