Colonial Virginia?

Why is there no Colonial Virginia project?  Is this place run by Yankees only (I see several for up North.).  Virginia is the mother colony of most of us with deep roots in the South.  Maybe this is even too broad and it should be by specific counties, but I would have expected at least a Virginia-wide project.

Hi Mikey,

I also love Virginia. I'm not a Yankee......I'm a damned Yankee. I moved from the north to Virginia & stayed! All kidding aside, there is also a Jamestown sub project associated with the US Southern Colonies Project.
I so love your question. I am a native Virginian... born in Whitepost Virginia.
Yep! We need one for Virginia. Actually most Southerners came into Virginia initially and then over the years they migrated to North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas. If we don't do Virginia, then it's hard for people to trace their ancestors back to the first one to enter the colonies.
I can help anyone who has trouble searching their roots in Virginia. I am starting a Butlers of Virginia Page. Will be posting all that I have. If anyone needs help let me know.
