Are they on a carriage ride or nervously waiting in a pew, Lauraine?  Either way, I love their expressions. So young!

They were married early enough to be on a carriage ride, so unsure.  Recall going to their house in early 1940's via a carriage.  However, as this is their wedding photo am wondering if wasn't posed?

Yes, it is a great photo.   However, their marriage did not end happily & my grandmother left him when I was a small child.  Eventually all the boys went down East to join her.  I loved them both.

But what a fine biography you could write! It just isn't the same when you have to write "and they lived happily ever after."
