I wanted to share this family photo of my maternal grandfather, Constantine Panagakos with the community. Does his moustache look odd to you? Grandpa wanted to see what he would look like if he had a moustache like his father's, so he drew one on this photograph. (Yes, in ink, on the original photo!)
I forgive him, though. Grandpa immigrated to the U.S. from Greece at the age of 16 and never saw his father, or the rest of his family again. And Grandpa never grew a moustache. Next week (October 20th) is the 120th anniversary of his birthday.
