I was given information that a news article in the newspaper Braunschweigische Anzeigen published the intentions of my Fricke ancestors from Suepplingen to emigrate to North America. Three great-great uncles, Heinrich Wilhelm Julius Wilhelm Fricke b.1826: Andreas Conrad Fricke b. 1820; and Franz Heinrich Fricke b. 1831 have the same mother named Christiane Lange. The eldest, widowed sister Joh.Julie Fricke Fahse's mother's name was Anne Agnesse Vahldieck, My 3X grandfather was Heinrich Julius Fricke b. circa 1783. Julius was widowed 2X. I have NEVER heard of Christiane Lange before, but according to the article, she would be my 3X grandmother. I CAN NOT track her down anywhere. All trees list Frances Peters as the 2nd wife, (and my direct relative). I can not track her down either but I am beginning to doubt the accuracy.
Wilhelm Heinrich Carl August Fricke
mentioned in the record of Wilhelm Heinrich Carl August Fricke and Christine Dorothea Clara Lange
In the absence of any findings in on-line databases your best bet is to contact the respective parishes since prior to the 1870's vital records were kept in church books. The parish should be able to tell you what records are available and where they are kept.
For the protestant church:

For the catholic parish:

Sometimes archival records are kept at a higher level than the parish.
